Wescott 1975 Women
A tribute to the trailblazing Filipinas who immigrated to Saskatoon in 1975, and helped build the foundation of the Filipino-Canadian community in Saskatchewan.

The Wescott Filipinas
In 1975, the arrival of over 100 Filipina seamstresses recruited by Wescott Casuals Ltd. sparked a transformation in the Saskatoon’s cultural fabric. Their arrival helped build the foundation of a thriving Filipino community, enriching the entire province with traditions, resilience and a legacy that endures today. STORIES COMING SOON.
